Little Miss Natalie

Miss Natalie is a sweet little girl. These are some of her moments. This is Halloween night when she got a hold of all of the suckers and she was not about to give any up.
I couldn't resist this coat. It had snowed so I put our littlest snow pants on her. It is "A Christmas Story" revisted. She hates that coat by the way.

Another messy day in the life of a one year old.

The first ponytails!! Yeah!! I had to chase her down and then walk behind her as I was putting them in. We've put them in about 3 times now and she is getting a little better.

She does not like me combing her hair. She is too busy for that kind of stuff. She sure looks cute though.

Halloween

Alex really, really wanted me to carve a pumpkin and so I did. I was impressed that it didn't cave in. I even won an award at our ward party. (There were only six pumpkins and our family brought 2. see next picture)
Alex was SO proud of himself. He carved this pumpkin all by himself. He called him one-eye. He also won an award at our ward party. 4-$1 coupons to Wendy's (Alex's favorite for chicken nuggets). He said on the way home from the party, "Mom I was so happy I almost cried!" I wasn't sure whether to laugh because that was funny or cry because it was so sweet. He also said next year he was going to carve on called "No-eye", just mouths. Funny, cute kid.

We had black spiderman, a bumblebee and a blue spiderman (Alex, Natalie, and Zachary) for Halloween. We went mostly just trunk-or-treating. The kids got so much candy. We should start handing our fruit or stickers or something.

Zachary with his loot.

Alex with his pile which he organized into types and things he liked best.

Fun at Hogle Zoo

We wanted to go to the SLC area for a wedding reception so we made a day of it and took the kids to Hogle Zoo. It was a fun day. After walking all over the zoo and seeing just about everything we headed for the last stop, THE TOYS. The kids could have spent another hour here, but Mom and Dad were tired. Alex and Zachary had fun on this slide.
The tiger was cool, we even got to see in go swimming. I thought cats didn't like the water.

Alex got all wet spinning this big ball at the entrance of the zoo. Unfortunately Zachary usually does what Alex does so they both had wet tummies for the rest of out drive that day.

Natalie was hilarious. She loved the zoo the most out of the three of them. She was so fascinated and excited about all the animals she saw. She was terrified by some of the animals if they were close but she couldn't stop looking.

Everyone loved the elephants. You don't get to see those everyday.

Rebecca and Natalie looking at the monkeys. The monkeys were making all kinds of sounds and Natalie was trying to sound like them. She loved it and I just kept laughing.

Rhino-riding Alex!
